Cannot delete file : Access is denied....here is the solution

You may have gone through one of the annoying error messages  while deleting a file:

Cannot delete file: Access is denied
There has been a sharing violation.
The source or destination file may be in use.
The file is in use by another program or user.
Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use.

The solution for this is : Unlocker

Steps to use Unlocker :

1.  Simply right click the folder or file and select Unlocker

2.  If the folder or file is locked, a window listing of lockers will appear

3. Simply click Unlock All and you are done!

An Internet Protocol (IP) address is a numerical label that is assigned to devices participating in a computer network, that uses the Internet Protocol for communication between its nodes. An IP address serves two principal functions: host or network interface identification and location addressing.

The Internet Protocol is used to route data packets between networks; IP addresses specify the locations of the source and destination nodes in the topology of the routing system. For this purpose, some of the bits in an IP address are used to designate a subnetwork.

The number of these bits is indicated in Classless Inter-Domain Routing(CIDR) notation, appended to the IP address; e.g. 208.77.188.166/24.

IP-LOOK up :

This helps you trace the location of any computer(connected to internet) based on its IP address.This is designed to provide additional information about the entered IP address.

These details include the hostname, Geographic location information (includes country, region/state, city, latitude, longitude and telephone area code.), and a location specific map.

Find IP location

** Do not attempt to lookup IP of 192.168.___.___ type , because these are meant for private users, and even if try you will not get it.

How to speed-up your computers performance?

1) Remove unwanted softwares.
    Go to start>control panel>add and remove programs.

 

     select and uninstall unwanted applications.

2) Delete all Temporary files.
    Go to start->run.
    Then enter “%temp%” (without quotes) and hit enter.
    


Temporary files are safe to remove. These includes internet files.


Microsoft internet explorer (IE) uses the Temporary Internet Files feature to          store copies of Web content on the local hard drive. This feature improves    network performance but can fill the hard drive with large amounts of unwanted data. IE allows many aspects of the Temporary Internet Files feature to be controlled.
While downloading any software from internet through any browser it ask for "open with" and "save to" options,in case of open with IE still downloads the data and stores it in default location called "Temporary internet files".


3) Cleanup disk.
    This will also free up your hard-drives space.
    go to my computer> right click on C drive>properties

    then go to "disk cleanup".

     click on "ok". It will then prompt "do you really want to delete these files", press ok

     

4) Defragment your drive.

    Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Defragmenter.

Analyse each of the partitions (by right-clicking on each of the drives and selecting analyse).

Defragment the ones which requires defragmentation as shown by the message.
